R-15 SCUD Launcher
The R-15 is the Red Army's primary siege unit, and is rumored to have far greater damage potential than Katyushas. It is capable of launching long-range R-15 SCUD ballistic missiles, wreaking havoc upon its targets. It is not so effective however, at fast-moving targets, and so is better suited to be used against enemy base defenses and structures.


Mig-21 "Fishbed"
The Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-21 serves as the backbone of the Soviet Airforce, replacing the older Mig-19's. It is armed with 8 missiles, making it suitable for intercepting enemy aircraft, and striking ground armor and structures. Although the current missiles that the Mig-21 uses are dual-purpose, Soviet command is investigating into specialized warheads for use in the future.


BM-25H Harvester
The BM-25H Harvester is the workhorse of the Soviet Army, fulfilling the role of bringing ore from the battlefields back to refineries. It is moderately well protected, and is also armed with a 23m-cannon, used to fend off any unsuspecting enemy infantry.

Well, this will be devoid of pretty pictures / updates, but it bears good news. After some troubling times, I'm glad to say that the last part of my list of things to do before modding is now complete. With the installation of Ares and the current build, I'm fully geared to continue development of Incursion.
TL;DR I'm getting off my ass to work.

I think it's going to be missed by most, but if you spam the spambox with something like Destiny did, even after admins mentioned how annoyed and angry it made them, then your ability to spam it up will be removed. Temporarily the first time, then permanently the second time.
And in some cases, word censors. Like gooeg l.
Hey all just thought I would let you know whats going on as I have not given any updates in a few weeks.
Currently im just touching things up im in college at this moment I have free time so I have my trusty Portable Notepad++ on my Flash drive and Im just doing some coding.

Ive Also added the Yuri & Soviet Spys
The Yuri Intruder uses Stealth Technology
Soviet Spy uses the transform logic like the allied spy.

Well yes, despite of struggling with time because of real life (universities, thesis, etc...) I am still working on with the mod. Pls understand if my deadline wasn't met. I am just making sure that the Mod will be playable 100% even the AI who can also play and execute just 80% because of game limitations. I am making the mod to be more good and it will be the pride of FS for sure.
As of now, I am really needing some artists who can transform the mod into the Zero Hour effect should be. I can do much stuff but my talents right now is really limited if quality speaking. 3D artists, SHP artists, Voxel Artists who can work part time in the mod. Graphic donations like animations would do also.
In other news, Psychic General will be out for this version and Demolitions will be replaced. Making it more basic to all and YR:ZH'ish. The some units will be removed and Side concepts will be changed.
New units were added to each of the Generic Sides, more graphical changes, coding and prerequisites. Check out the forums for more details.
You can also contribute by posting comments and other things that will make the mod good.

Allied Utlity Heli, fast, light and... Useful?
Capable of carrying 4 guys and packing a machinegun, the utility heli is a useful scout if your enemy neglects AA and can be useful later game inserting special units. It's also planned to outfit it with some ASW weapons, either depth charges, airdropped torpedoes or sonobouys.

As I posted in my YR Incursion forum, the mod has entered the final planning stage. Right now, I'm building the "incursion master document" which will outline and plan the entire mod. Gameplay, side information, and game modes will be presented within this document. Naturally, the select few will see it as it develops, but I'll eventually show it to the public.
And, don't think that everything you see in the forums is the ultimate limit of what's going on. There are more secrets than public truths about Incursion.
And, don't worry. No "I need halp with..." long list threads. I intend to do everything I have to in order to finish the mod to my level.
Still more to be done around the site of course, always something to do. However, I have been slowly working on a new feature, and section, for the site and that is an improved set of NPatch documentation in web form. This new version will be cleaner and easier to read and understand with better English.
Now, I am not the biggest fan of the NPatch but there is quite a lot of use for it and even I still use it so the new documents should be handy for quite a few people. At least, that's my goal anyway.
So, read on. Not all pages are updated just yet, but keep checking for updates. Should there be anything incorrect or if you have a better explanation, don't hesitate to let me know. Be it via PM, a forum post, email or IM, I am open to ideas.

Opt 1.2 Final is released! I've finished off the last major section of development I had intended for this intended small scale mod. I announce that this project is now finished, and that I will only release a new version if there is a major bug or flaw in the work. I'd like to thank Fen and Tony personally for the help in keeping me motivated and for the testing done on Opt. Without further ado, I present the mod.

After a long stint of inactivity, the Editing Source is back up and running again, with a top level domain even. With the TLD comes a cleaned up design, better organized pages, lots of fixed download links and the ever useful tutorials.
Not a lot of new content unfortunately, but with this announcement, I hope some brand new things float our way for another great collection of resources.
However, there are a few new downloads that the previous Editing Source did not have, and that is the ever popular modified DirectDraw DLL and an older set of the XCC Tools.
In addition, we even have a nice new Red Alert 2 map courtesy of EliteGi from the C&C Den.
