August Incursion Video! Posted by m666 on Fri, 27 Aug 2010 11:22:59 -0500 - (4 comments)

A fresh new video off the production lines, this is a demonstration of early-game PsiExoda. This is an almost full tech tree, I'm missing one infantry to be available from the Radar. This covers the tech tree at the Science Lab, without the Sciences researched. Not much to see in the video in terms of constant action, but it does show that I've been putting together the third side.

Generals: European Conflict UAN beta released! Posted by m666 on Fri, 27 Aug 2010 10:52:10 -0500 - (0 comments)

The Generals: European Conflict UAN beta has been released today! Posted below is the original news post, which can be found here!

Welcome back, Commander. It's been far too long. Thus echo the immortal words. It's been years in the planning, and today, finally, you will get a taste of what is to come, but not quite in the manner in which you would have envisaged - your enemies today are your own countrymen. Our base is under attack, not from any visible enemy, but instead, from hostile forces within our own faction. This could get nasty. We have established satellite feeds of the amassing hostile forces within our borders - they are moving, and they are moving in force. Early attempts to quell the rebellions were utterly annihilated - it would appear the enemy has complete access to our technology, and is not just some rag-tag band of rebels, but an army forming against us from within. The feeds below show early survelillance of a few key points of military importance - but the enemy is thick upon the ground and in the air.

If we are to survive this uprising, and continue our fight against the Americans and the Europeans, then we must quell this rebellion with the minimum of casualties. However, I fear this objective may not be achieved, as the enemy forces are numerous and their walls well-fortified. It's going to take more than a few tanks to sort this one out. There is no rest for the wicked Commander, so how about some action?

Twisted Insurrection: Public Beta 1 Has Been Released!

Twisted Insurrection: Tiberian Dawn - Nod Victory

The year is now 2019. The Tiberian World now stands with a very uncertain fate. The two most powerful and influential forces on the planet are trapped in a never ending dead lock of war and combat. Whilst the Global Defense Initiative has suffered many blows and military defeats, the faction itself still stands strong and has shown the world its amazing ability to endure harsh punishments and has recovered much lost ground. The Brotherhood of Nod has struggled and triumphed over its enemies, only for its victory to be short lived by the death of Kane the Messiah, causing an ever lasting deterioration through the Brotherhood and leading to defeats and chaos amongst the large faction. With the end of the First Tiberian War comes the dawn and age of a new, second Tiberian War, with new terrifying possibilities and potential. The fate of Earth lies dangerously unknown. Welcome to the Twisted Insurrection commander.

[SD:I]Bi-Weekly Update! Posted by m666 on Wed, 21 Jul 2010 21:16:03 -0500 - (4 comments)

On top of all the work being done behind the scenes here in the network, I've managed to pull together an update for this week, involving Soviet Dawn: Incursion. This is a media update, focused on some of the more picture/video/sounds than new features or coding updates. I've got three things to display today...

The new Freedom Studios intro screen, made by Geno, is included into the mod. Now you can watch (or skip by) a brief video advertising Freedom Studios.
*

Also included in the update is a demo of the new musics to be included in Soviet Dawn: Incursion. This is the main menu music.
*

And an update on the Soviets, showing off their new color system as well as their new power system. Soviets in SD:I utilize Nod-esque powerplants. The Reactor is the light power generator, giving 150 power. The Telsa Reactor has seen breakthroughs in output capabilities, giving off 500 power. The Tesla Reactor can be built after obtaining a Radar, and the original Nuclear Reactor must be intact and on the battlefield.

That is all for this week. Stay tuned for next week's updates on C&C Final War!

Back in action Posted by m666 on Tue, 20 Jul 2010 15:52:40 -0500 - (5 comments)

I'm announcing my return to Soviet Dawn: Incursion, as well as formally announcing C&C Final War as my secondary, alternate project. With those two announcements, I also follow with my staff membership in Twisted Insurrection, Mental Omega: APYR, Robot Storm, and AG: Shattered Alliances. While the list may seem long, I've learned that I can work on one piece at a time, and contribute back to the community who has always been able to help me out in a time of need, be it feedback or constructive criticism.

I'll end this announcement with my suggestions to hit the forums up, where browsers can find a newly structured M666 Productions, a sign of the new organization in store for all of the Freedom Studios network. Inside, you can find new information about the Soviet tech tree in SD: Incursion, as well as some developments on C&C Final War.

Summer time! Posted by Lt Albrecht on Fri, 16 Jul 2010 15:54:44 -0500 - (12 comments)

Right. This brings both good news and bad news for MV.

Good:
-I am now off college, with only the following work for the next six weeks:
# A one hour essay on political philosophy
# Some research into the physics of the source engine (whip up a LUA script that catalogues the launch angle, maximum height and the distance at which it returns to 'ground level', read a few journals, shoot some stuff, get GMOD as a study aid )

Bad:
- 1st of August I go to see Iron maiden at sonisphere
- on the 27th of August I'm having a Toga party and henceforth will be able to buy alcohol, can you imagine D's face debugging excepts in Ares caused by drunk ini coding? The thought of it makes me both laugh and cry at once...

TL;DR More time for MV, more alcohol, seeing Iron Maiden

Command & Patch Moves To CNCNZ.com Posted by Doctor Destiny on Fri, 18 Jun 2010 17:13:18 -0500 - (0 comments)

Some of you may have noticed that Command & Patch had moved to CNCNZ.com. Sonic and nathancnc had intended to be a small sub section of CNCNZ.com but has since been expanded. It has the same information about the C&C: The First Decade Unofficial Patch v1.03 and the Command & Conquer Gold 1.06b patch. Plus it now features direct access to the recently created Command & Patch Forums.

And don't forget the new site address: http://cnp.cncnz.com.

Joshy has recently updated the Download link for Tiberian Sun: World of Insanity. The link to the topic can be found here:

World of Insanity aims to improve several game-play factors including, a much better AI, and some improved graphics. Although this is a beta release and it is uncertain whether the project will be continued or not, you should definitely be sure to check the post and have fun trying to fend off the waves of AI units.

Joshy has stated that WOI requires Firestorm and is not standalone. (WOI also no longer uses ETS)
